COLON MUSEUM
Permanent Exhibition and Interpretation Center dedicated to the Portuguese Navigator Christopher Columbus (Colon), with an extensive bibliographic collection which includes rare books, reproduction of documents, cartography, press publications, news magazines, audiovisual items, conference literature and banners, information on fellow institutions, objects related with the life, achievements and origins of the Admiral, as well as various historical replicas.
DIGHTON ROCK
Permanent Exhibition based upon a real size replica of the Dighton Rock, scientifically copied from the original monolith, with the inscriptions carved by Portuguese Navigator Miguel Corte Real over 500 years ago, in 1511. This virtually indestructible Replica is made of fiberglass and can be seen alongside eight panels explaining its history, date and meaning of the inscriptions, for the complete understanding of all visitors.

Space dedicated to the Visual Arts, Exhibitions, Painting, Ceramic, Sculpture and Multimedia.
ÁLVARO LEITE LIBRARY
Wide space of modern conception with over ten thousand books covering medical issues, History, Literature, Geography, Press titles, Encyclopedias, reference guides and manuals. We also have Prince Henry's Cartography Monumenta and the Viscount of Santarem Atlas, as well as the 1422 Nautical Chart by Zuane Pizzigano, on which Dr. Manuel Luciano da Silva has discovered in 1987 the "True Antilles".
CARLOS GASPAR VIDEO LIBRARY
Collection of hundreds of films covering the essential of the History of Cinema including all the great masterpieces of the 7th Art since 1920 up to present day. This is the best quality cinema collection in Portugal outside the National Cinemateque.
HOUSE-MUSEUM LUCIANO DA SILVA
Rustic House where Dr. Manuel Luciano da Silva was born, built over 100 years ago, keeping its original furniture, kitchen utensils and farming utensils, now enriched with diplomas, commendations and photos that reveal his remarkable life achievements.
Aside from diversified Art Originals on display, there is also a copy of the first World Map drawn by Martin Waldseemüller in 1507, with the name "America", whose original is worth 10 million dollars and is in the National Library of Congress in Washington DC, USA. There is also a vast collection of Ancient Cartography.
We also have a Multimedia Center equipped with modern technology for high quality audition of music, screening of films in high resolution and all formats, including DVD, VHS or any other digital platform or media support, as well as for the organization of Workshops and Video Conferencing.
The Museum has also a free internet Wi-Fi Hot-Spot available to all visitors, either inside the various sections or on the outside gardens.
All Exhibitions can be visited free of charge. Also free is the use of the Book Library, Video Library and Multimedia Center.
The Foundation Dr. Manuel Luciano da Silva regularly organizes CULTURAL EVENTS with music, poetry, theatre and historical or medical presentations (all of which are public and free of charge). Our Calendar is daily updated at the Museum's official website LUCIANODASILVA.COM.
